Welcome to Tamworth Musical Theatre Company, an amateur theatre company located in the heart of Tamworth, bringing our love of theatre to local audiences since 1965. We have an adult branch open to all aged 16+ and a youth branch for those aged 8-16.

Set in the late 1970s, this comedic musical follows three female office workers—Violet, Judy, and Doralee—who are fed up with their sexist, egotistical, and overbearing boss, Franklin Hart Jr. When a series of events leads the trio to accidentally imprison Hart in his own home, they take over the office and implement progressive changes that improve the workplace. As the women grow more confident and empowered, they begin to challenge the oppressive system. The musical features songs by Dolly Parton, celebrating friendship, feminism, and workplace equality.
